Rohit Shetty, the action director, is all set to venture in small screens. Yes, you heard it right, as per the reports, he is planning to embark upon an animated venture of Golmaal series that has to be made for the Kid’s channel. He has also titled the shows as Golmaal Junior and will have the same format as we have seen in the films. It will carry three key characters – Madhav, Gopal and Lucky. He is planning to release the show in the month of May airing it on Sonic channel.
As per reports, the show will have a similar plot of two rival gangs are seen fighting against each other with great humor. This is not the first time we have seen Rohit Shetty venturing in the small screen, earlier, he has done the same with his Singham series embarking upon the animated version known as Little Singham. Rohit Shetty is also the host of the popular action reality show called Khatron Ke Khiladi, which used to be aired at Colors TV.
The Golmaal version for kids would be , and it will be portrayed in a way to make it popular among the kids. We now see Rohit Shetty busy in shooting for his next cop drama movie called Sooryavanshi with Akshay Kumar in the lead role. We also hear that he has shot a few sequences for the film and is ready to embark upon a teaser soon. The film is expected to hit next year during the eve of Eid in 2020. However, we also hear rumors that Shetty would change the release date considering the clash with Salman Khan starrer film Inshallah. On the other side, Rohit Shetty has even announced Golmaal 5, which will be seen soon.
