The film is directed by Pulkit, who recently earned critical acclaim for the hard-hitting investigative drama Bhakshak. For Kartavya, he has assembled a versatile ensemble cast – Saif Ali Khan leads the project, marking his return to a Netflix cop role nearly seven years after his celebrated turn as Sartaj Singh in Sacred Games. Rasika Dugal, Sanjay Mishra, and Zakir Hussain play key supporting roles. Saurabh Dwivedi, the veteran journalist and founder of The Lallantop, is set to make his highly anticipated acting debut, adding a layer of realism to the crime drama.
