Sacred Games Season 2 Trailer Out

After a massive response from the season 1 of Netflix original Sacred Games, the makers have come up with the second part as well. Dropping in the trailer of the much-anticipated second season of Sacred Games, they have raised the temperature pretty high.

Netflix’s first original series, Sacred Games had captured millions of hearts with its interesting plot and brilliant performances delivered by the lead actors Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and not to forget Radhika Apte. In September 2018, news was already announced on the account of renewed succession for the second season of the series. The makers have now dropped in with the trailer of this much-anticipated second season of the show. The series will be hitting the OTT screens on August 15.

In the trailer, one can find a few of known faces from the first season itself, but there are a few new additional faces, as well. This year, actors Ranvir Shorey and Kalki Koechlin are also joining the cast. Pankaj Tripathi, will be seen playing an interesting role of Guruji that is supposed to hold a key to saving the city of Mumbai this season.

It was earlier reported that the second season of this web series will be streaming by the end of July or the first week of August this year. Talking about the upcoming series, a source reported on a famous media platform, “Netflix is going through it again and that’s why the delay. It seems like the platform isn’t happy with the final outcome. Rumors suggest that this season isn’t that great as the first one. Well, only time will tell if the audience likes the show or not but we all have high hopes.”

This year, the second version of the series will be directed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan while, Vikramaditya Motwane serves as the show runner.

Sacred Games is based on the book with the same name written by Vikram Chandra and the series is written by an excellent team of writers including Varun Grover.
