Pakistani Actor Refuses to Work Against Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra in a lot of talks since her wedding with Nick Jonas and with the first project coming up soon after her marriage, she manages to stay in the headlines as well. PC will next be seen playing along Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in Shonali Bose’s upcoming film, The Sky Is Pink.

Rated as one of the most talented actors, apart from Bollywood, this gorgeous actress has also made her mark in the glamorous Hollywood world, too. Delivering a number of hit films including, Fashion, Barfi, Bajirao Mastani and Mary Kom, Priyanka is on the top of her acting career, these days. Almost every actor from around the globe would love to work with PC but, here’s some surprising news hitting the media these days.

The Pakistani actor, Shamoon Abbasi had refused to play a role opposite Priyanka. Not only this, very recently, during his appearance on ARY News’ show titled, ‘Har Lamha Purjos’, Shamoon Abbasi also revealed the reason behind his decision of refusal for the role offered opposite the ‘Desi Girl’. He explained that producer Hasan Zia had called him from Delhi and said, ”I’m with Vishal Bhardwaj [Bollywood director] and he wants to cast you with Priyanka Chopra in a film.”

During this time, Shamoon was pre-occupied with Pakistani movie Waar. Thus, he informed Zia about his preoccupied situation, requesting to adjust the timetable a bit. He explained, ”He [Zia] got angry and said, ‘You’re telling me I should ask Priyanka Chopra to wait for you. I said yes, he said ‘no’.”

On the other side, Priyanka is enjoying her vacation with husband Nick Jonas in Italy. She has shared a number of stunning photos of hers chilling by the poolside in a monokini holding a cocktail in her hand. She also captioned these pictures as, ”Best use of a vacation. The hubby taking pictures. Lol 😝 📷@nickjonas 👙 ☀ 🍸 💏.”

On the work end, Priyanka is appearing soon with Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink.
