Ranveer Singh’s End-of-the-World Thriller ‘Pralay’ Begins Filming in Mumbai
Filming has officially commenced in Mumbai for Pralay, an ambitious end-of-the-world action thriller starring Ranveer Singh. The high-octane project marks Singh’s latest major screen venture following the massive success of Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar The Revenge, which emerged as the highest-grossing film of all time. Venturing into an unexplored, disruptive cinematic space, Singh not only headlines the feature but also serves as a producer, taking on a demanding role that calls for intense physical commitment and deep emotional resonance.
Directed by Jai Mehta—who earned widespread acclaim for co-directing Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story and helmimg Lootere—Pralay plunges audiences into a relentless, apocalyptic odyssey. Set against the unmistakable pulse and backdrop of Mumbai, the original story marries breathtaking spectacle with a deeply human heart.
