Rakul Preet Singh & Siddharth unite for Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2
After impressing with her roles in the films like De De Pyaar De and Aiyaary, Rakul Preet Singh is back in news and this time for being the part of the film Indian 2 by Kamal Hassan with South Indian actor Siddharth. There seems to be a confirmed report that the South Indian filmmaker Shankar is all set to resume the shoot of the film Indian 2 of Kamal Hasaan and he is going to start the same on 7th August. Yes, you heard it right, the sequel Indian 2 is back in news.
Now, we hear the gorgeous South Indian actress being roped in for the film opposite the Rang De Basanti actor Siddharth Suryanarayan. The two would be romancing in the said film. After playing the gorgeous diva in De De Pyaar De flirting with Ajay Devgn she is now on board of the said sequel. Talking about the movie, the filmmaker Shankar said that when he was making the prequel with Kamal Hassan he came across many situations that led him to think about the sequel.
He has then only decided to write a story for the second part. He said those situations had remained the driving force for him. Earlier, we heard that Kajal Aggarwal was the leading lady for the film but when she opted out from the sequel, Shankar was quick to approach Rakul and she agreed. The film will be produced under the banner called Lyca Productions, while it is slated to hit the screens in the second half of 2020. So, you must be excited about the film, right?
