JNU Attack Protest: Deepika Padukone Visits JNU Campus triggers Chhappak boycott
The Sunday attack inside the JNU Campus has led many voices for the hapless students and teachers by right-wing influenced goons against it. Many of the B Town divas came out and condemned the attack at JNU and the latest to join was Deepika Padukone who visited the campus last night and remained the part of the protest against the goons attacking students.
During her visit at the Campus, she said that she is angry to see such things happening in a premier institution like this and the fact that no one has taken any action against the goons attacking the students. She said she was pained by the same and called the act to become normal now in the current crisis in the country. She called the act to be both scary and painful as well.
However, she was not part of any platform inside the campus and has not even shared the stage with anyone. Her presence inside the campus was a message for all. This has led many to condemn her starting from the BJP IT Cell head Delhi castigating her with the following tweet, which asked to boycott her film hitting this Friday:

:@deepikapadukone I usually avoid tweeting to Bollywood but if this is your bid to sell a movie on a woman’s fight by sharing stage with somebody penalised for sexual misconduct (he flashed himself to a woman student at JNU in 2015) then it defeats the very purpose!
