Pubali Sanyal is an actress in TV and films. She hailed from Calcutta and was brought up in this place. She did her schooling and college in Salt Lake City and later got active in theatre. Thanks to her interest that developed in her school days. She used to participate in plays and shows that continued in her college leading to different theatre groups. She then headed to Mumbai and her career soon started with a small screen. She then got the chance to work in B Town film and was seen in the movie Saathiya in 2002 with Rani Mukherji and Vivek Oberoi in 2002.

Soon she got the chance to work in the film Maqbool in 2003, which later helped her bag the Cannes Award the next year. It managed to get good ratings. She then a number of other films like Hawa Aney Dey, and then returned back to the small screen doing the TV show called Pyaar Ki Kashti Mein aired on Star One playing the role called Shilpa. The show was aired earlier in 2004 but later made with other episodes in 2015. She then continued working with several ventures on a small screen.

These include Sssshh… Phir Koi Hai, the Qayamat series with Twinkle Bajpayee. She then got films like Darling with Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol, and Isha Koppikar appearing in the Horror genre. She then appeared in a couple of movies including Good Luck! and Oh My God! She then got married in 2010 and then gave birth to a baby in 2011 and later returned with the show Kaphal: Wild Berries in 2013 with an IMDB rating of 8.6. She then was seen in TV shows like ‘Nisha Aur Uske Cousins and ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’. She appeared in the short film Uss din and earlier appeared in the web series Bebaakee.
