The Bajirao Mastani actor Ranveer Singh happens to be an ardent fan of the game football not many of us would know that. He specially flies to several other nations to catch a football match of his favourite team. Also, we have seen him playing this game with his friends from B Town for a local club. Now, he seems to be associated with this game officialy. Yes, you guessed it right, he has formed an official link with the infamous English Premier League in India, which was announced on Friday. The actor was seen helping to promote the Premier League to the football fans both in India and abroad.
In his ambassadorial role, he is seen working to support the community initiatives of the League all across the country and promote the fan events along with sharing his passion for the game. This very partnership with the actor would make the relationship between ISL and EPL strong that was first made formal in the year 2014 when we saw the mutual cooperation agreement was signed between the. This tie up has also brought up the two leagues exchange knowledge along with the strategic support and the ideas all around the development of the sporting event at all the levels.
The Premier League is also meant to support the development of the game both at the grassroots and the elite level in the country who has been moving ahead the international community programme Premier Skills since the year 2007. The Premier Skills happen to be the global coaching and the referee development programme that employs the football like a tool to engage and develop the football playing skills among the young people. The programme seem to run in the partnership with the help of British Council, which happen to be the Sports Authority of India (SAI) along with the Indian Super League (ISL).
