Recently, Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar took his Instagram handle to announce the release date of his upcoming film Prithviraj. Akshay Kumar shared a poster of the film which also contains the release date of the film which is 3rd June 2022. While sharing the announcement, Akshay wrote, “Elated to announce that Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan’s grand saga is arriving sooner on the big screen on 3rd June in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.”

Well, a month ago, PIL was registered against the makers of Prithviraj demanding to change the title of the film. On this, the Delhi Court has finally rejected the public interest litigation (PIL). A bench of Chief Justice DN Patel and Justice Neena Bansal Krishna stated that it will not issue notice to the PIL. It further threatened to impose costs following which the council withdrew the petition.
The plea was filed in early February The Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha initiated a protest demanding the change of title of the movie Prithviraj. People were protested in Chandigarh and burned the effigy of the actor. The public interest litigation (PIL) sought a ban on the release of the film. The plea states that respondents have tried to defame, degrade the historical warrior Hindu king who had sacrificed his life for sake of the safety and security of Hinduism.
