As per reports, the actor was shooting for the said film in Gujarat where he got the accident injuring his cheekbones. As per reports, he was shooting for an action sequence in Gujarat at the place called Alang. It is the largest port area in the country and often regarded as the top shipyards in the world. Bhanu Pratap Singh is the director of the action film and it is yet to get the title.
The reports suggest that the actor was shooting for the film non-stop till he got injured making the shooting to halt. He was admitted in the hospital to get 11 stitched on his cheek. As per reports, the film happens to be a hardcore action movie and he was shooting for one such high octane action sequence when this incident happened. While shooting for the film, the door fell on the actor hitting his cheeks hard. The doctor then informed that his cheekbones are fractured and that he would take a few days to recover.
The shooting was taking place during the night time and the entire crew was working tirelessly extending their shifts. The actor after the injury has returned Mumbai to take rest and would also consult the bone specialist for the quicker recovery of his face. Bhanu Pratap Singh is doing the debut in direction and the makers have completed the first schedule of the shoot in Mumbai. They then headed to Gujarat to shoot the action sequences when they encountered this accident on the sets. Vicky is also part of another film Ashwatthama, which is a mythological film.
