Kalank Third Day Box Office Collection- unlikely to get 100 Crores in the first weekend

kalank 3rd day box office

The film Kalank was released amidst all the buzz in the media getting a very good collection on the first day. However, the collection fell down by 50 percent on the second day getting 11.5 Crores. Similar was the story on the third day when the film collected around 11.5 Crores that together gave Kalank a total of 43 Crores. As per reports, the film scored well at places like Mumbai, Mysore and Andhra regions, but failed to impress the audience in the North Indian the Hindi belt in a big way.

The film has a decent star cast with Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit coming after a long gap on the silver screen along with Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, and Aditya Roy Kapur also the part of the film failed to go the way the makers felt would go. The first-day being holiday went to see a huge collection, however, the second and third day being a working day had to face a dip in collection reaching up to 50 percent. Yet the film was the biggest earner for

Alia and Varun when compared to their earlier films.
The trade pundits who felt that the film would collect 100 crores in its first weekend are in two minds. They now claim that it is unlikely that the film would enter into the hundred crores in its first weekend. The sudden drop in collections on the working days is the cause behind it. Also, on Saturday, the collection would remain similar, however, the Sunday would see some amount of surge in the collection. It will take another few days to get the film into the hundred crores club.
