OMG: An NRI Accuses Shilpa Shetty & Raj Kundra involved in ‘Gold Scam’
Just when we heard the tussle between Rangoli Chandel and Raj Kundra we now hear that he and his wife Shilpa Shetty has been alleged to involved in yet another scam called the Gold Scam with the company called Satyug Gold Pvt. Ltd, which deals in gold for being the company’s ex-directors. Sachin J Joshi an NRI based in Bombay claimed that he was lured to invest in the said company and later was taken for a ride.
He was seen lodging a criminal complaint with the Mumbai police charging Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra along with the officials of the same company including Mohd Saifi and Ganpati Chaudhary at the Khar Police Station. When the media tried to contact this person he denied to comment on the matter, while police are investigating into this matter. As per the complaint, Joshi was sold a five gold scheme against his investment in the company for getting fixed quantity gold after the said duration.
However, as per Shilpa’s husband, the said scheme called Gold Dream was meant for the investor to buy the gold as per the current rates with complete advance payment and they were eligible to get the same at three different redeemable options 15% in 2 years, 26 %in 3 years. 30% in 4 years and 37% in 5 years. He informed that Joshi had procured of 1 KG gold of INR 18.58 lakhs in March 2014, which was only redeemable on or after March 25, 2019, with the said discount, promised. Thus Kundra family has denied about having duped anyone as things were clear before the customer.
