Kahaani 2 has hit the theatres today and it happens to be a solo release this Friday. Well, taking a closer look at the film starring Vidya Balan, the morning occupancy report was slow but as the day turned dusk, the occupancy report soared making it to be a decent grocer. The thriller with a new story was strategically promoted in the media garnering a decent amount of prerelease buzz in the media. Also, the makers were confident that the film will not be hit by the demonization effects of Indian PM’s initiative to curb black money.
He is right to some aspect and is willing to do better over the box office for sure. As per reports, the first day box office collection for Kahaani 2 tolled to around 4.7Â crores, which is actually a decent figure. The trade pundits believe that the film would do a better business in the coming first weekend thus turning a very good grocer for sure.
The film has done well at most of the metro especially getting a good business in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata. With a decent collection, the film would certainly do better over the box office this week. Well, let’s see how things would move but as of now, the story is too rosy for the makers and is likely to remain the same in the coming first weekend of its advent as well.
