Did Nana Patekar slap fan for taking selfie Without His Consent? Check Video

Nana Patekar has found himself at the center of a new controversy. A video of him slapping a fan who attempted to take a selfie with him on the set of his film has gone viral, sparking widespread backlash on social media. Many users have expressed their disapproval of Patekar’s actions, deeming them inappropriate and disrespectful.

The video, which surfaced online earlier this week, shows Patekar engaged in a heated exchange with a young man who approached him for a selfie. After initially appearing hesitant, Patekar suddenly smacks the fan on the back of the head, causing him to visibly recoil in surprise. The video has since garnered significant attention, with many condemning Patekar’s behavior.

Critics have argued that Patekar’s actions were unwarranted and unnecessary, pointing out that the fan was simply trying to express his admiration for the actor. They have also questioned the need for such a harsh response, suggesting that Patekar could have politely declined the selfie request instead of resorting to violence.

In response to the growing criticism, Patekar has yet to issue any public statement. However, his actions have undoubtedly tarnished his image and raised questions about his temperament. It remains to be seen whether Patekar will address the controversy or if the incident will simply fade away with time.

Nana Patekar’s upcoming film ‘Journey’ also features actor Utkarsh Sharma, known for his role in ‘Gadar 2’. Upon the film’s commencement of shooting in Varanasi earlier this month, Utkarsh expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “This script has been in development for several years, and its evolution has been remarkable. The story not only holds a special place in my heart but also resonates with the very essence of every Indian.”

Nana Patekar recently appeared in Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘The Vaccine War’, portraying the role of the former director-general of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). His previous involvement in controversy dates back to 2018 when actress Tanushree Dutta accused him of sexual harassment during the filming of their 2009 film ‘Horn ‘Ok’ Pleassss’. This incident marked the beginning of the #MeToo movement in India.
