Movies to Release on Amazon Prime, from Coolie No 1 to Durgavati
As we proceed ahead in these tough pandemic times, we see many of the filmmakers taking resort in popular OTT platforms. Amazon Prime is one of the popular OTT platforms, which has been actively showcasing some interesting movies. Right from Gulabo Sitabo to Shakuntala Devi, the OTT platform has several cool movies to showcase. There are not less than nine films, which are releasing on the said digital platform. Let’s check the major ones as under:
Coolie No 1 – The film starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan is ready to release on Amazon Prime. The film is releasing on 25th December 2020 on the eve of Christmas. It was supposed to release on 1st May 2020 but with the lockdown, the makers had to push the release, which is finally hitting the OTT platform in December this year.
Chhalaang – The next worthy film to be included in this list getting ready to release on the streaming giant include Chhalaang. The film has Nushrat Bharucha and Rajkummar Rao in the leading roles. The film is a sports comedy film and it is all set to release on 13th November on 13th November 2020.
Durgavati: The film Durgavati Bhumi Pednekar is all slated to be released on 11th December 2020. The film happens to be a thrilling and scary ride, which showcases the story of an innocent government officer becoming the victim of a conspiracy involving some powerful people.
The other films releasing on Amazon Prime include Kannada movie – “Bheema Sena Nala Maharaja” Telugu movie -“Middle Class Melodies”, Tamil movie – “Maara” and another Kannada film “Manne Number 13”.
