Mouny Roy needs no introduction when it comes to movies and TV world. She is a known actress from TV and movies. She was born on 28 September 1985 in Cooch Behar, West Bengal and was brought up at the said place only. She did her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) from her native place and later headed to Delhi to continue her education wherein she joined Mirinda House to do her college followed by joining the Jamia Millia Islamia University to complete her graduation. She did her mass communication from the same college and later wanted to work as a journalist but later dropped the idea to be a reporter and then went on to become an actor, which made her learn acting and dance.
Once she decided to become an actor, she did headed to Mumbai and soon got the chance to act in small scree starting her innings with Ekta Kapoor TV show called Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in the year 2007. Soon she got another show called Zara NachkeDikha wherein she was the contestant in the reality show. Some her shows includeKasturi, PatiPatniAur Who, Do Saheliyaan, Shh..Phir Koi Hai, etc. However, she got recognition with the mythological serial called Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev and it soon followed number of other shows like Junoon – AisiNafratTohKaisaIshq and JhalakDikhhlaJaa 7.
Some of the other shows include Kumkum Bhagya, Bigg Boss 9, Tashan-e-Ishq, EkTha Raja EkThi Rani, Comedy Night Live, Comedy Nights Bachao, So You Think You can Dance as host and so on. Her TV show Naagin was a big hit that gave her too much of attention. Also, she participated in Bigg Boss 8 in 2014 and other reality shows. Talking about her B Town entry, she is doing her debut with the upcoming movie Tum Bin 2 wherein she has been in its item song. Talking about her personal life, she has been in relationship with Gaurav Chopra who is a good friend and co-actor.
