Tanushree Dutta Reveals Turning Down Rs 1.65 Crore Offer for Bigg Boss 19: “I’m Not That Cheap. My Privacy Is Precious”

Over the years, Bigg Boss has become one of the most talked-about reality shows on Indian television, often drawing celebrity interest and offers to participate. Actress Tanushree Dutta recently revealed that she has been approached multiple times over the last 11 years to join the show—but has consistently declined.
In an interview with Bollywood Thikana, Tanushree confirmed that she turned down an offer this year as well, despite being offered a hefty sum of Rs 1.65 crore. “Do you really think I would go to a show like that? I can’t even stay in a place like that—I don’t even stay with my own family. I was never interested in Bigg Boss and never will be. They offered me Rs 1.65 crore to be on the show. Another Bollywood celebrity at my level was paid the same,” she revealed.
She also shared that even the Bigg Boss stylist reached out to her, promising to manage her diet, but she refused flatly. “Even if they gave me a piece of the moon, I wouldn’t go,” she asserted.Tanushree explained her reasons by emphasizing her need for privacy and comfort. “Men and women sleeping in the same hall, fighting there… I just can’t do that. I am very particular about my diet based on my energy needs. Do I look like someone who would share a bed with a man for a reality show? I’m not that cheap.
My privacy means everything to me. I know I can earn more if I’m allowed to work in peace,” she added. Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan, is currently streaming on JioCinema and airing on Colors TV with a slight delay. After two weeks without eliminations, the third weekend special featured a double elimination, injecting fresh excitement into the season. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
