She was born and brought up in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1988 and known for participating in a number of reality shows including So You Think You Can Dance and for playing the lead female character in 2013 Bollywood movie called ABCD- Any body can dance. she has also participated in another reality dance show called Jhalak Dikhla Jaa of season 6 along with her partner Punit Pathak the popular dance choreographer. While, she was seen active in dance, she came into limelight with the show called So You Think You Can Dance in 2004 in the second reason. In the year 2005 she was seen in the final six contestants. After the participation, she was seen assisting Tyce Diorio, Tabitha and Napoleon D’umo, and Mia Michaels during seasons four, five, and six of the said reality dance show. Later she participated in the season of 7, 8 and 9 wherein she was even declared as the All Star dancer for these seasons. She even travelled in the fifth season with the choreographer.
