Catch Netflix Delhi Crime trailer showcasing the 2012 Delhi gang-rape case
With the rise of digital media, we see the popular streaming platforms embarking with one or the other web series. Now, Netflix has announced a new web series called Delhi Crimes and the makers have now embarked upon with the trailer that showcases the fictional depiction of the inquiry of the crime. It is seen investigating the team of Delhi police led by the lady cop called Vartika Chaturvedi played by Shefali Shah. As the trailer starts, we see Shefali Vartika coming from face to face with the crime, which she calls insanity and heinous once she finds a girl over the roadside who has been gang-raped.
This soon brings the search for culprits. Soon we see the lady cop opening up the layer after layer of the crime, and she realises things are very much simple as they seem. The story also talks about the strength of the lady as she tries her best not to allow her vulnerable and emotional self that hampers her duty. The web series – Delhi Crime is directed and written by Richie Mehta the Indian based Canadian filmmaker.
The web series also features Adil Hussain, Rajesh Tailang and Rasika Dugal in the lead roles. The first season would cover the number of challenges that the cops have faced while carrying out the investigations and the kind of toll it takes the investigation team that bring the criminals to justice.
