Randeep Hooda on Covid-19 crisis: “I feel helpless, want to contribute towards easing other people’s pain”

The second wave of the pandemic has hit the country very hard. People in the country have been asking for help for Oxygen concentrators, cylinders and other needful aids. The medical facilities in the country has been overburdened by the requests of medical aid.

In these difficult times, everyone is coming forward and doing their bit. Bollywood celebrities have also come forward to do their bit, they have been arranging all the necessary equipments for the people.

Now actor Randeep Hooda has revealed that he has teamed up with an NGO, to support and Help people in this time of crisis. He also opened up on being categorised in a different way, when people refer to him as a celebrity.

He said except from using his personal social media handle amplify request of those who are in need, he his helping to send out Oxygen concentrators for them. “I do it because as a human being, I feel helpless and want to contribute to easing other people’s pain,” he told Hindustan Times.

Randeep Hooda also expressed that during this crucial situation, oxygen has became more important than food. He is hopeful that despite the hard times, “we shall overcome this.” and seeing everybody coming forward and showing their unconditional support during times is heartening. “It has been a terrible situation, so one should do as much as they can for people around them,” he concluded.
