Kareena Kapoor Khan to wear a producer’s hat alongside Ekta Kapoor for a thriller to be directed by Hansal Mehta
Kareena Kapoor Khan has been known for her acting prowess and success over the past 21 years. She has now also released her book. As she progresses in her profession, she plans to develop an as-yet-untitled thriller. Ekta Kapoor will co-produce the film, which will be helmed by Hansal Mehta, the filmmaker of Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story.
The gritty thriller is set in the United Kingdom and is based on a true story. Kareena Kapoor Khan told a daily that she is honoured to collaborate with Ekta Kapoor on this film as a producer. She expressed her admiration for Hansal Mehta’s films and expressed her excitement at the prospect of working with him for the first time.
“I’m honoured to work as a producer on this film with Ekta. I am a huge fan of Hansal’s movies, and to work with him for the first time will be special. This film marks a lot of firsts,” Kareena was quoted by Midday as saying.
Hansal Mehta says, “Our aim is to create a gripping and moody thriller with Kareena playing a character that I hope will do justice to her talent as an actor. I look forward to venturing on this journey with Ekta and Kareena, both of whom are powerhouses.”
