Scam 1992 actor Pratik Gandhi & Khushali Kumar to star in Hansal Mehta, Shaailesh R Singh & Bhushan Kumar’s production!
Pratik Gandhi returns as the lead in Bhushan Kumar, Shaailesh R Singh, and Hansal Mehta’s next untitled film, following his strong performance in Scam 1992 last year. Khushali Kumar, who gained fame for her music videos and has completed filming her debut film, a psychological thriller starring R Madhavan and Aparshakti Khurana, joins him. Pulkit, the director of the Rajkummar Rao-starrer series Bose: Dead or Alive, will helm this family drama set in a small village in Uttar Pradesh.
Khushali Kumar and Pratik Gandhi, who are working together for the first time, have already begun their look testing and preparations in Mumbai. The story of a dignified battle of an ordinary man to win what is his is told in this family drama, which stars Pratik in the lead role and Khushali opposite him.
While this is the actors’ first collaboration, Bhushan Kumar and Shaailesh R Singh will reunite after working together on Hansal Mehta’s Kangana Ranaut starrer Simran and Sunny Kaushal and Nushrratt Bharuccha’s next release Hurdang.

Director Pulkit concludes, “This film comes to me from a personal space and is very close to me. It is the story of a dignified struggle of a common man to get his land back. The story defines and revolves around a normal middle class family and it deals with the system, power and the abused theory of law.”
