One of India’s most admired film personalities and multi-taskers Karan Johar has returned with the seventh season of his well-liked discussion program Koffee With Karan. He continues to hold a variety of positions, including producing movies, serving as a judge for reality shows, and hosting one of the most well-liked programs, Koffee With Karan.
Rapid fire is the most adored aspect of the program, and it has ultimately caused numerous issues. KJo recently admitted that he occasionally needs to intervene to put things right in an interview.
Recently discussion with IANS asked him if he had ever intervened to rescue the day, the director of “My Name Is Khan” responded, “Many times, it has happened that I had to step in to douse the fire after rapid-fire. I remember when Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone came to the show and spoke whatever they had to, Chintu ji (Rishi Kapoor) was very upset. I had to step in to make things alright. I have shows banned and taken off air, which I felt terrible for.”

Interestingly, the host admitted that he had frequently sat at the edit table and cut out passages that would have stirred up a commotion in the business.
He was quoted stating, “I have had times where I have actually edited comments made on the show by celebs before the telecast because I felt that it would land up in trouble. Many times actors have called me directly requesting to cut something that they have said as a slip of tongue. I have done this because for me relationships come before everything.”
On the meantime, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh appeared in the inaugural episode of Koffee With Karan 7. Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan will grace the couch in the second episode and display their real selves.
On the professional front, KJo will make a comeback as a director with the release of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, a romantic drama starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
