The 64 year-old ‘Apaharan’ actor is well known for his angry outbursts, but his ‘Welcome Back’ co-star, John Abraham, said he doesn’t blame Nana for his quick temper, as he values his honesty. Speaking to PTI, the 42 year-old ‘Dhoom’ star explained: “”I believe he (Nana) is the most honest person in the industry… He is the most transparent man. I would not blame him for getting angry as he shows his anger when someone does wrong. So, I don’t blame him. He is a fantastic human being.” John continued to speak highly of Nana, who he first worked with when they both starred in Milan Luthria’s 2006 drama, ‘Taxi No 9211’. John, who rose to fame in 2003 after making his Bollywood debut in ‘Jism’, said that he has a father-like relationship with Nana, who is pleased with how far the actor-and-producer has come since his early years in the industry.

John said: “He is very proud and happy for me. He told me I have come a long way. He treats me like his child.”John is the newcomer to the cast of ‘Welcome Back’, the sequel to the 2007 film, ‘Welcome’, which starred Akshay Kumar and was a big success at the box-office. Akshay isn’t reprising his role for the sequel, but John said he isn’t under any pressure to fill the ‘Rowdy Rathore’ star’s boots. He said: “I did not feel the pressure as ‘Welcome Back’ starts from where the story of ‘Welcome’ ends. Akshay’s character gets married to Katrina Kaif in the film and ‘Welcome Back’ starts from there. It is a completely different story.”

There will be no rivalry between the two either, as John insists that he and Akshay are good friends: “When I told Akshay I am doing the sequel of one of his films – ‘Welcome’ he said it was a fantastic choice. Akshay was very happy that I was doing the film. We share a great relationship.” The two have their movie- Welcome Back releasing this Friday.
