Plot

The film is inspired by the Mars Mission that was carried out by in 2013 by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). It deals with a story of a team at ISRO led by Akshay Kumar (Rakesh Dhawan) who make the impossible Mars Orbiter Mission practical and affordable. So, how does this mission gets accomplished is an important topic to explore in the nearby cinema.

Mission Mangal Review

The film happens to be an apt release for the I Day release concerning the rich content and star cast. The film is all about showcasing the team work and how things work when a group of few people decide to accomplish something impossible and incredible. The makers have tried to film this emotion in the right letter and spirit giving audience a reason to celebrate their patriotism the most. The script could have a couple of things added just to boost up the entertainment value but these seems to be the perfect one for the audience.

Talking about the performances, the makers were smart enough to choose the best star cast for their film. Starting with Akshay Kumar who plays Rakesh Dhawan has done a decent job in leading a team of few able scientists who are hell bent on accomplishing this mission of reaching to the Mars. Vidya Balan in her Tara Shinde role too have done a good job. Similarly, Taapsee Pannu in Kritika Aggarwal’s role was too good. The others like Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, and Shraman Joshi have given their best. The other elements like music, direction, screenplay, dialogues, editing and photogarphy, everything appeared to be decent that have together helped to boost up the entertainment of the film.

Mission Mangal – The Last Word

The film Mission Mangal is both patriotic and celebrates the achievement of India in Space Research. The movie has showcased how with team work we can achieve more and significant. It can be a worthy watch for all age groups for this I Day or the coming weekend.
