Ivanka Das is an actress, dancer, choreographer, and model. She hails from Kolkata and was raised at this place in tough conditions. She is a transwoman and had a tough time getting her upbringing as both her parents died down when she was a child. She constantly battled the constant stigma of being a trans woman. Ivanka had to face too many obstacles in her life while being in Mumbai and Kolkata. Coming from a conservative family, she proved debilitating on multiple fronts. Constant rejection made things bad to worse for the translady.
She then headed to Delhi to become a choreographer, and started dating men that helped her gain the empowerment for herself. She gave her the name Ivanka on her own, while soon she was caught in a terrible bout of jaundice, which soon brought the typhoid. She also became the victim of an extreme case of alopecia. She lost her hair and in her fit of rage she shaved off her hair which unknowingly led to her first big break.
She got her first photo shoot for a fashion brand since she had a nice bald head with her strong jawline and big effeminate eyes. Soon she started modeling. Soon she headed to Mumbai and got her break in choreography apart from modelling assignments. She worked for the reality show called Dance Deewane both as a contestant and a dance choreographer. Soon her performance videos went viral. For her modeling, she got her Vogue shoot. While she tried for TV, films and web series.
