Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra starrer ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ to begin the shoot at the end of this year
Fans of Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, and Priyanka Chopra were overjoyed when it was announced that the trio would collaborate on a road trip film, Jee Le Zaraa, in 2021. There was a lot of expectation among fans when the project was revealed in 2021, but it’s been two years and there hasn’t been any news on the project.
Finally, Reema Kagti, one of the producers of the film, provided some updates on Jee Le Zaraa. Reema Kagti, writer-director, spoke with Indianexpress.com about the present status of Jee Le Zara and Made in Heaven Season 2.
Reema was recently interviewed by Indianexpress.com in order to promote her next programme Dahaad. When asked about Jee Le Zaraa, the writer smiled and stated, “We will begin shooting by the end of the year.” We’re quite excited and looking forward to it.”
Farhan will direct ‘Jee Le Zaraa’. He collaborated on the screenplay alongside his sister Zoya and Reema Kagti. Jee Le Zaraa’ marks Farhan’s return to directing after a decade. Don 2 (2011) was his last directing effort. Farhan had posted photographs of himself completing a film recce a few weeks ago, hinting that production will start soon.

For the uninitiated, Jee Le Zaraa was intended to begin filming in 2022, but it was postponed because the schedules of Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif did not coincide, preventing them from starting the shoot on time. However, with this current update, it appears that all three stars’ dates have now aligned.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in fantasy-action drama Brahmastra (2022) where she was cast opposite Ranbir Kapoor. The film was helmed by Ayan Mukerji. Katrina’s last big screen appearance was in horror-comedy Phone Bhoot (2022) and Priyanka is currently part of spy-thriller web-series ‘Citadel’ which is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
