Liger, south actor Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey’s much-awaited movie is inching towards its release and fans are highly excited. The pre-release promotions are in full swing and the lead actors were recently spotted in Mumbai local too. Now, both Ananya and Vijay entered a mall in Navi Mumbai to promote their upcoming movie. However, the actors had to halt the promotional event midway. You will be amazed to know what exactly happened.

Both Ananya and Vijay arrived at the overcrowded mall for promotions on Sunday. As the would-be actors entered the mall, the fans went wild and they couldn’t manage to control the crowd. Vijay was heard telling the crowd: “Hum Yahin Hain Abhi, Thoda aaram se. We are here only. ’’

Despite trying hard to calm the crowd, the cast of Liger couldn’t control them. Hence, the actors had to leave the promotions halfway for the safety of cast members and the crowd.

Our sources have revealed that people were overwhelmed as Vijay came on stage. Shockingly, some female fans fainted and a bunch of girls were seen crying. A large number of fans held sketches and posters of Vijay yelling ‘We love you, Vijay’. This makes it evident that the actor is not only popular in the south, but also in other parts of the country.

To those who are unaware, ‘Liger’ directed by Puri Jagannath is an action-packed sports drama and is made in Hindi as well as Telugu languages. It is expected to debut in theatres on August 25. Besides Ananya-Vijay, it also features Ramya Krishna and Ronit Roy in important roles
