It is a known fact that Aryan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s son, is venturing into this film industry not as an actor but as a showrunner of a web series. According to recent media rumours, the show now has a title. According to Box Office Worldwide, the online series will be called “Bastards Of Bombay.”
The same article revealed that the web series would present a close-up imaginary depiction of the Hindi film industry and will be rather controversial because it will touch on many of the film industry’s negative aspects.
According to an online publication Peepingmoon, the show’s fictional tale draws on the experiences of industry insiders and offers a glimpse into the lifestyle of performers and their hardships.
The same publication quoted its source as saying, “Aryan is working on this Tinseltown satire on his own and will serve as the showrunner. It’s a funny, touching, and gripping story set in the Mumbai film industry, told through an up-and-coming young actor and his friends. Having been a star kid, Aryan is well aware of all the nitty-gritty of how the film industry functions and has written a script that takes a not-too-serious look at the ins and outs of film stardom.”
Aryan Khan’s debut web series is a promising and one of the most highly anticipated projects. The web series star cast has been finalized and the shoot will begin soon.
Aryan recently directed his dad Shah Rukh for the advertisement of Aryan’s limited-edition luxury streetwear D’yavol X. The video of the commercial has gone viral on social media.
