2). Salman Khan for Baazigar
Baazigar is considered to be a landmark movie for the career of Shah Rukh Khan. However, not many would know that it was originally offered to Salman Khan, however, he refused to do since it didn’t go with his image. At that time, Salman Khan was more known as lover boy of Bollywood. Again, the movie went to Shah Rukh Khan, which nourished his career in Bollywood. Similarly the movie Chak De was offered to Salman but on his refusal it went to Shah Rukh Khan.
3). Karneena Kapoor Khan in Kaho Na Pyaar Hai
Kareena Kapoor was considered to be the best and suitable actress for the movie Kaho Na Pyaar Hai by the filmmaker. In fact, she had even accepted the role, and went over the sets for few days, however, the lady dopped the idea of continuing since the movie was not released with a popular male lead. Later Ameesha Patel was offered the role and the movie on its release a big hit over the box office allowing Kareena to regret on her idea of dropping the movie.
4). Shah Rukh Khan for Munna Bhai MBBS
The movie Munna Bhai MBBS was first offered to Kind Khan, however, he declined the offer to do the movie, which eventually went to the bag of Sanjay Dutt, which made him lose a big blockbuster. This character helped Dutt to have a stable career in B Town.
5). Hrithik Roshan for Dil Chahta Hai
The role of Aakash in the movie Dil Chahta Hai was initially offered to Hrithik Roshan by Farhan Akhtar. In fact, Farhan had designed the character of Aakash keeping in mind Hrithik Roshan, but when he declined the offer, Aamir Khan was signed for the movie. The movie turned out to be the biggest hit of 2002, while character garnered a good popularity from the audience and critics.
6) Kareena Kapoor for Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam
Kareena seemed to have committed a number of mistakes losing some good movies, which again include the blockbuster Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Once she denied doing the movie, Aishwarya Sai was chosen for the same and proved better for this new actress in B Town.
7). Kangana Ranut in The Dirty Picture
Originally the movie The Dirty Picture was offered to Kanaga Ranut, however, she declined to play the character of Silk in the movie. She rejected on the grounds that the character did not match up her standards, which finally led the movie to Vidya Balan and rest became a history.
8). Kajol for 3 Idiots
