Housefull 5 Team to Film a Special Song Celebrating 14 Years of the Comedy Franchise: Report

The Housefull series, known for its comedic charm and led by Akshay Kumar, is set to return with its fifth installment. Following a five-year gap since the fourth film, the makers have confirmed that Akshay will reprise his role alongside an ensemble cast.

Special Celebration Track

After completing a significant filming schedule in Europe, the latest news reveals that the film will feature a special song to celebrate the franchise’s 14-year journey. Sources indicate that this track will be shot on a grand scale, taking three days to film at the expansive Chitrakoot Grounds in Andheri, suburban Mumbai.A source shared with Mid-Day that the song is designed to be a celebration of the franchise’s legacy, featuring elaborate sets, costumes, and choreography that showcase the playful chemistry among the cast.

The shoot is scheduled for November 21 to 23 and will include the entire cast, such as Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Nargis Fakhri, along with around 100 background dancers. Under the choreography of Remo D’Souza, rehearsals began on November 19. The aim is to capture the classic Housefull vibe—quirky and over-the-top, with moments designed to leave audiences in stitches.

In addition to the celebratory track, the film is expected to feature another massive dance number. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 will also star Dino Morea, Soundarya Sharma, Shreyas Talpade, Chitrangda Singh, and Sonam Bajwa, among others.
