Come the 23rd February and you have several movies releasing the next Friday. This certainly include the film ‘Hey Ram Humne Gandhi Ko Maar Diya’. The film is directed by Naeem A Siddiqui who happens to be the writer of the film as well. The film has Jatin Goswami and Samiksha Bhatnagar in the key roles. The film also marks the 70th dearth anniversary of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The film revolves around the life of two strangers who meet in a train journey on 28thJanuary 1948 and two days later we witnessed the assassination of Gandhi.
Now talking about the buzz of the film in the media, it seems to be minimal thanks to the makers for keeping the promotion low and the lead actors of the movie who enjoy a low star value in the industry. This has given certainly a low buzz despite the poster and trailer releases in the media. The makers have failed to garner any kind of buzz about the film in different forms of the media, hence one can expect a slow start for the film. The fact of the matter is one cannot expect much from the film for obvious reasons, however, after the release of the media, there seems to be some hope.
So, looking at the current scenario, the film would score not more than 2-3 crores on day one. And depending upon the ratings and the audience word of mouth buzz, one can expect something really interesting for the film to see at the box office. So, one can expect some amount of surge in the media in the coming first weekend of the film when it can expect to score around 20 crores. Well, let’s see how things movie but at the moment the picture isn’t rosy for the film for obvious reasons.
