Habit: Shehnaaz Gill fight back tears in the music video, which marks Sidharth Shukla’s swansong

“Habit” is the most sincere and passionate homage to late actor Sidharth Shukla. The new song, which was released a day early, features Sidharth in the lead role, with his companion Shehnaaz Gill emulating the emotions of the ‘SidNaaz’ fan following.

Sidharth and Shehnaaz captured footage for an unfinished song for “Habit,” which has been edited in a unique way. The video was taken on the beach. Additional clips of Shehnaaz singing the song while reminiscing about her time with the actor have been added to the mix.

There are also glimpses of what went on behind-the-scenes when the song was being shot, revealing the joy the unit had on set with the two artists.

“Habit,” sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Arko, was unveiled by the makers and they captioned it, “Thousands of #SidNaaz fans wanted the song immediately. Who are we to come in the way? #HABIT OUT NOW.”

“Adhura” was the previous title for “Habit.” Shreya Ghoshal had tweeted a few days before the song’s release.

On September 2, Sidharth Shukla died. Shehnaaz, who has been close to the late actor since their time on Bigg Boss 13, has been in sorrow for weeks. She recovered and made her first public appearance lately, just in time for the release of her debut film Honsla Rakh. Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa both star in the Punjabi film.
