Gadar 3 is already in the works, featuring Sunny Deol who will be receiving twice his previous salary for his comeback!

We now hear about Gadar 3 as the sequel known as The Gadar 2: The Katha Continues seems to have shattered box office records on its opening day, with collections on par with, if not better than, the opening collections of the original Gadar in 2001. “We expected it to open very big,” said a source from the film’s producers Zee Studios. “But this has gone beyond anything we expected.” The film grossed an estimated ₹35 crore on its opening day, making it the second-highest opening day collection for a Hindi film of 2023, after Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.

The success of Gadar 2 is a testament to the enduring popularity of the original film, which was a huge hit at the box office and is considered one of the most iconic Bollywood films of all time. The film’s director, Anil Sharma, has said that he is “humbled and overwhelmed” by the response to Gadar 2. “I am grateful to the audience for their love and support,” he said. “I hope they continue to enjoy the film.”

Gadar 2: The Katha Continues happens to be a sequel to the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. It stars Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the lead roles, and tells the story of Tara Singh and Sakina, two lovers who are separated by the Partition of India. The film is set in the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Tara Singh, a Sikh farmer from Punjab, is forced to flee to Pakistan after the Partition. He meets Sakina, a Muslim woman, and they fall in love. However, their love is forbidden by the two communities.

Tara and Sakina eventually escape to India, but they are pursued by Major General Hamid Khan, a Pakistani army officer who is determined to get revenge on Tara for killing his men. Gadar 2: The Katha Continues is a historical action drama that explores the themes of love, loss, and revenge. It is a sequel to one of the most successful Bollywood films of all time, and it is sure to be a hit with audiences. The film has been released in theaters across India and is expected to continue its successful run in the coming weeks.
