The second day of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) 2024 unfolded in Abu Dhabi, where the brightest stars of the Hindi film industry gathered for a night of celebration and recognition. Among the illustrious attendees were Hema Malini, Rekha, Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Vicky Kaushal, Shahid Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon. Shah Rukh Khan captivated the audience as the host of the evening, taking the stage alongside co-hosts Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar. The trio delighted the crowd by performing to his hit song “Jhoome Jo Pathaan,” adding a lively touch to the festivities.

In his acceptance speech, Shah Rukh expressed gratitude to his fellow nominees, including Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal. He humorously noted, “I got an edge because people were happy that I worked after so long,” and thanked his wife Gauri for her unwavering support during challenging times while making Jawan.

The three-day celebration commenced on September 27 with IIFA Utsavam, focused on the southern film industries. On this second day, stars like Karan Johar, Rekha, Ananya Panday, and Janhvi Kapoor also graced the event. IIFA 2024 will culminate on September 29 with the exclusive, invite-only IIFA Rocks, featuring live performances from artists like Honey Singh, Shilpa Rao, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
