Boman Irani and Anupam Kher’s ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’ Returns to Theatres on October 18

On October 18, 2024, Khosla Ka Ghosla (KKG) will return to theaters exactly 18 years after its original release, much to the delight of its fans. This groundbreaking film set a new standard for cinema rooted in reality, combining humor with sharp social commentary that resonates deeply with audiences. Its memorable dialogues and satire have become a part of India’s cultural fabric, often reflected in memes and everyday conversations. Directed by Dibakar Banerjee and creatively produced by Jaideep Sahni, Khosla Ka Ghosla was produced by Tandav Film Entertainment Pvt Ltd.
The film tells the story of Kamal Kishore Khosla, whose land is seized by a nefarious thug named Khurana. Determined to reclaim their property, Khosla’s son Cherry and his friends devise a clever scheme to outsmart the crook.Anupam Kher, who portrayed Khosla sahab, expressed his excitement for the re-release, stating, “It feels wonderful to know that KKG is coming back. It has truly achieved cult status. People often reference it in conversations and memes. I’m thrilled that a new generation will experience its magic on the big screen.” Ranvir Shorey echoed this sentiment, saying, “I’m excited that Khosla Ka Ghosla is being re-released after almost 18 years.
