Do Patti Trailer Unveils a Twisted Tale of Love, Lies, and Rivalry as Kajol Navigates a Dark Story with Two Kriti Sanons

A serene hill station might hide secrets in the fog, and the trailer for Netflix’s Do Patti hints at just that. Directed by first-time filmmaker Shashanka Chaturvedi and penned by Kanika Dhillon, the film features Kajol in a groundbreaking role as a police inspector. Kriti Sanon takes on a dual role as rival twins, while Shaheer Sheikh plays a character intent on safeguarding his own mysteries. This gripping thriller is produced by Kanika Dhillon’s Kathha Pictures in collaboration with Kriti Sanon’s Blue Butterfly Films.

Set in the fictional hilly town of Devipur, the story revolves around police inspector Vidya Jyothi (played by Kajol), who becomes embroiled in a series of disturbing incidents connected to Saumya (Kriti Sanon) and her husband, Dhruv Sood (Shaheer Sheikh). The arrival of Saumya’s twin sister, Shailee, adds to the intrigue, leading Vidya to question the reality of the tangled web of truths and deceptions surrounding her.

Kriti Sanon expressed her enthusiasm for the project, stating, “Do Patti holds a special place in my heart, not only because it’s my debut as a producer, but also because it allowed me to delve into my own duality on-screen. This film has been like my baby; Kanika and I have nurtured it from the beginning, particularly in our roles as producers, and it’s incredibly gratifying to see this journey unfold with Netflix.
