Diana Penty to share screen with Ajay Devgn in Abhishek Kapoor’s next directorial venture
Diana Penty has been cast as the lead alongside Ajay Devgn in Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming film. This film marks Diana’s first collaboration with Ajay Devgn. The project was officially announced by the creators at the beginning of this year. However, there has been no update on the film’s shot as well as the genre and plot of the film as of yet.
The yet-to-be-titled project will also mark the debut of Ajay Devgn’s nephew, Aman Devgan, and Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, who will be starring opposite each other. While Ajay Devgn previously appeared in Abhishek Kapoor’s film “Fitoor,” in which the primary cast comprised Aditya Roy Kapur, Katrina Kaif, Tabu, and Aditi Rao Hydari, the upcoming film will be the first time he will be seen in a significant part in a film directed by Kapoor.
The critically acclaimed film “Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui,” starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor, was Abhishek Kapoor’s prior directorial endeavour. Despite earning great reviews, the film did not fare well at the box office.
Meanwhile, apart from this untitled project, Diana has few other projects lined up for release. She will be next seen opposite Shahid Kapoor in crime thriller Bloody Daddy. She is also part of supernatural thriller Adbut where she will be seen sharing screen space with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Ribhu Dasgupta’s courtroom thriller ‘Section 84’. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur.

In addition to this, Ajay Devgn is all set to commence filming for ‘Singham Again’ in August of this year as per media reports.
