Dhurandhar Sequel Titled Dhurandhar The Revenge; Teaser Cleared by CBFC with ‘A’ Certificate
Following the January 18 news from Bollywood Hungama that the Dhurandhar 2 teaser would be screened alongside Border 2, an exciting update has emerged: the Ranveer Singh-starrer’s official title is Dhurandhar The Revenge. On January 19, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) approved the teaser for the sequel. Listed on the censor certificate, the film’s title is Dhurandhar The Revenge, and the teaser runs for just over one minute.
Interestingly, the teaser has been granted an ‘A’ (Adult) certificate. In a previous statement, a source told Bollywood Hungama, “Both Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2 are nationalistic films. Jio Studios aims to leverage the patriotic wave with these releases. The newly edited teaser from the first film’s end credits will premiere exclusively on the big screen before being released digitally.”
The original Dhurandhar featured a star-studded cast including Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun. Directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by B62 Studios (Aditya and Lokesh Dhar) and Jio Studios (Jyoti Deshpande), the first film followed an Indian spy infiltrating a dangerous Karachi gang.
