Wiki : Dhruv Bhandari is a popular Indian TV and movie actor. He hails from Mumbai, wherein he was born in the year 1978 on 28^th of October. After his schooling and college, he headed to do his Bachelors in Mass Media, however, since he hailed from filmy background, it really helped him to get a direction in acting world in B town movies and smaller screens. Since his college days, he was involved in theatre and was seen doing loads of theatre workshops apart from learning dance and music. He started his career working as model and was seen with bigwigs like Sachin Tendulkar in the ad of Luminous Invertors and later led the campaign for McDonald’s for four months.

He started his career by appearing on TV in a serial called Rakt Sambandh showcased at NDTV Imagine wherein he was seen playing the character of Yuvraaj. However, he was supposed to do a TV show called Sixer by Manish Goswami, which was based on the life of Sachin Tendulkar though the project was seen shelved. He did a number of TV serials like Tere Shehar Main, ‘Karz’, ‘Parampara’, ‘Jeevan Mrityu’, ‘Pathjhad’, ‘Gumraah’ and ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara and others. This gave him good exposure, thus leading him to do a Bollywood movie.

He got the chance to work with Madhur Bhandarkar’s film called Dil To Baccha Hai Ji along with side Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hashmi, Omi Vaidya and Shazahn Padamsee. He was even seen in one of the movies of Aamir Khan called The Rising- Mangal Pandey. He then got the chance to work with a Tamil movie called Pathaayiram Kodi wherein he has the lead role, which was directed by Sreenivasan Sundar the man popular for his film Kodai Mazhai.

However, in his mid of his career, he was seen suffering from depression, however, with his father and friend’s help, he was able to recover from the same very soon. Once again his devotion and passion for acting led him back to one of the important TV serials of Star TV called Everest. While he is currently doing another called Tere Shaher Main.
