Dhamaal 4 Trailer Drops: Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh Lead a Wild, Nostalgic Race for Shaitan Singh’s Gold

The wait is officially over for comedy fans as the makers of Dhamaal 4 have dropped its highly anticipated trailer. To mark the occasion, the team hosted a grand trailer launch event at the Adlabs Imagicaa Theme Park in Khopoli, Maharashtra. Directed by veteran hitmaker Indra Kumar, the fourth installment of the beloved franchise promises chaotic madness, high-stakes adventure, and a distinct Pirates of the Caribbean flair.
The Plot: From the Big ‘W’ to the Big ‘M’
While the iconic 2007 original revolved around ₹10 crores buried under a giant ‘W’, Dhamaal 4 shifts the goalposts. This time, a massive fortune is hidden beneath a giant ‘M’.
The trailer kicks off with a hilarious sequence featuring Upendra Limaye dangling from a cliff while the rest of the gang interrogates him about the legendary “Shaitan Singh’s treasure.” From there, it’s a wild, obstacle-filled race to the wealth, featuring tiger encounters, high tides, and slapstick survival sequences.
A Powerhouse Comic Ensemble
The film blends the franchise’s classic legacy characters with exciting new additions. Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjay Mishra, and Riteish Deshmukh return with their signature comic timing, guaranteed to trigger major nostalgia. Ajay Devgn and Ravi Kishan lead the chaos, while Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, and Vijay Patkar step into pivotal roles. Esha Gupta also appears, seemingly in a cameo as Ajay Devgn’s wife.
While some of the trailer’s meta-references to older films feel a bit repetitive, the unique new gags and the cast’s natural chemistry look set to deliver a solid family entertainer.
Box Office Reshuffling & Release Date
Dhamaal 4 is locked for a theatrical release on July 10, 2026.
The film’s journey to this date involved a game of box-office chess. Initially slated for July 3, the makers briefly pushed the film to July 17 to avoid a head-on collision with Akshay Kumar’s Welcome To The Jungle. However, after Welcome To The Jungle advanced its release to June 26, and Alia Bhatt’s spy-thriller Alpha claimed the July 3 slot, the Dhamaal 4 team strategically advanced their release by a week to July 10 to enjoy a clean, clash-free run.
