TV show Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul will receive major changes after the death of lead actress Tunisha Sharma and the lead actor being arrested in the scandal. It was recently reported that actor Abhishek Nigam would replace Sheezan in the show. However, he refused to comment on whether he is entering Ali Baba or not. Now, the news about his entry into Sony Sab’s popular show is finally confirmed. Sheezan Khan is out of the show, and Abhishek will take on the role of Ali Baba.
Yes! The actor has signed a contract to play this character and will soon start shooting for the show. A source close to the development stated, “It’s true.” Abhishek Nigam has been roped in for the role and will shoot the promo soon. The plot is focusing on a masked man right now, and Abhishek Nigam will be revealed as that person. We still need to make a decision about Tunisia’s character. The creative team is considering each and every option right now, and her character may or may not return in the story.”
When asked about how the plot will proceed, the source disclosed, “Viewers will see that Ali faces severe injuries and gets a fresh face through ancient cosmetic surgery after getting healed.”
Abhishek Nigam will probably star opposite Avneet Kaur
Well, Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul received huge publicity last month after the lead actress, Tunisha Sharma, who played Shehzadi Mariam, committed suicide on the sets of the show. After the death of this 20-year-old actress, her mother filed a case against Sheezan Khan, and he was arrested for abetment to suicide. The actor is currently behind bars and hopes to be released on January 13.
We had also heard that Avneet Kaur would be stepping into the shoes of Tunisha Sharma’s character, ‘Mariam,’ in the show. Later, her mother dismissed the reports in a conversation with a news portal, the E Times. She stated, “My daughter isn’t playing Mariam in Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul and the reports are false.”
