Review: Despite having all of the components for a riveting spy thriller, Code Name: Tiranga, starring Parineeti Chopra and Harrdy Sandhu, falls short. Throughout the first half, Ribhu Dasgupta’s film prepares the viewer for a powerful story of patriotism, but when the time comes, it takes an entirely unexpected turn.

In Code Name: Tiranga, Parineeti Chopra plays an aggressive and uncompromising RAW agent, and she gives one of the best performances of the year. Even when the plot deviates and her character is forced to deliver a few clichéd lines, she performs admirably and keeps the audience engaged.

Code Name Tiranga Movie 2022 Performances:

Talking about the performances, Parineeti Chopra has definitely come into her own. The actress, who earned a name for herself by portraying cheerful and jovial characters, has broken free. She single-handedly takes out a whole band of terrorists in Code Name: Tiranga, slaps ladies without remorse, and is at the top of her game as a RAW agent.
Despite a fundamental plot problem, Parineeti Chopra’s outstanding performance as Durga keeps one interested in Coda Name: Tiranga.

Hardy Sandhu shines in the little scenes he has. Despite the fact that his role should have been fleshed out further, the singer-turned-actor manages to create an impression. He is unquestionably prepared for a more substantial film role. Sharad Kelkar takes up the screen every time he appears. Whether it’s his scary appearance or general demeanor, the seasoned actor has nailed his role as the chief of a terrorist organization.

Director Ribhu Dasgupta gets full credit for trying a traditional female-led spy thriller. It’s inspiring to see how much he trusted Parineeti Chopra and let her carry the entire film on her shoulders.
While his directing is sharp and on-point, his plot and script fall short. He seemed to have attempted too many things at once, which has harmed the profundity of Code Name: Tiranga.

Code Name: Tiranga Movie Verdict:

Despite falling short of being a gripping spy thriller despite a few surprising twists and turns, Code Name: Tiranga is watching for Parineeti Chopra’s bravado act. If you have no other plans this weekend you can give it a shot.
