Padmavat is all set to release and with every passing day, the film is becoming bigger news and issue for obvious reasons. The fact is the moment the film was announced, the fringe groups from the Rajputs have been agitating and when the film hit the floor we heard the sets being vandalised for no reason by the group of goons led by the Karni Sena. The film has Deepika Padukone playing the character of Rani Padmavati, while the Alahuddin Khilji is played by Ranveer Singh. As the trailer appeared, we could see his character bold and fierce on the screen getting too many applauds for his makeover.

He has tried all his potential to make his face and body language resembling to the character of Alahuddin Khilji but amidst this, he is young and dynamic guy known as a jovial and talented man in B Town. Ranveer Singh who plays this character was recently seen sharing a collage of the various avatars of his role in the film, which he at the end of the message over the social media declared as a Monster. Just when he is on the verge to see his film releasing this Thursday, he was seen embarking with the college that showcased him in his character.

The film has been in the trouble and with lots of efforts the Censor Board passed the film with the change of the name from Padmavati to Padmavat. The film also has Shahid Kapoor who is playing the character of Maharawal Ratan Singh, while the movie is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali along with Viacom Productions.
