Top Flop Bollywood films of the year 2016

2016 is good year for some Bollywood films but some of them suffer with poor performances instead having good star cast. Find below the list of Top Flop Bollywood films of the 2016

Fan :

We were waiting eagerly for this release of Shahrukh Khan and we were disappointed!! That is least to say about Fan which had too much of Shahrukh khan and too much of drama. The story was indeed far fetched with hardly any credibility to it and Shahrukh simply hogged the screen space all the time. This reminded us of Billo and Om Shanti Om, his previous movies that had almost the same aura around him. The critics were not too kind to this film as they wrote it off straight away.  But yes Shahrukh pulled off the act wisely.

Te3N :

This Amitabh Bachchan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan film had aroused our excitement to great extent. What we found out later was it did not quite make that great an impact. This Sujoy Ghosh directed film was a thriller but we guess the audience was not too thriller to watch it and it was disappointingly rejected by the common audience and critics too.

Mohenjo Daro

This Hrithik Roshan, Pooja Hegde starrer film looked so fascinating and  fairy tale like in a historical set up. But enduring through this three and half hours long film was not too much fun for the audience. Result ? It hardly made any vibes at the box office.

Fitoor

Fitoor

So what’s up with Katrina Kaif? Her break up with beau Ranbir Kapoor kept her in news. But sadly her films did not get her nay further this year. Fitoor with Aditya Roy Kapoor crashed at the box office and almost went unnoticed as there was hardly any substance in it.

Baar Baar Dekho

Another disaster by Katrina was Baar Baar Dekho with Siddharth Malhotra. With awesome promotions and foot tapping music, we thought it would be a blockbuster but alas Katrina could not pull off the film on her shoulders neither did Siddharth make any difference. So it turned out to be another flop.

Kya Kool Hain Hum 3

Kya Kool Hain Hum 3

Among the remakes and sequels, we had two this year. Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 had Aftab Shivdasani playing the second guy while Tushar Kapoor retained his old character. Of course it was an adult comedy as all would expect. But the problem with adult comedies is that we never know when it gets cheeky and humor goes for toss.

Ghayal , Grand Masti , Mirzya and Rock On 2 were among the other major flops of the year 2016.
