Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi enters 100 cr club, here’s how the actress celebrated!
Bollywood’s highly awaited film Gangubai Kathiawadi has been finally released on 25th February. As soon as the film was released, the box office shattered with the houseful boards. Well, within just 10 days of release, the film has entered the 100cr club and it is buzzing to score more at the box office.
Sharing this great news, Alia Bhatt took her Instagram handle to announce the same. She shared some pictures in which she could be seen treating herself with vegan burger and fries. While sharing this, Alia wrote, “Happy century to Gangubai & happy vegan burger + fry to Alia…Thank you for all the love.”

Well, talking about the screen space of the film, Earlier a source had stated that Pen Studios is all set to close its deals with the exhibitors across India. . While the numbering is rising by the day, the industry sources insist that Gangubai is looking to release nearly 3000 screens in India on February 25. This would mark the third most expansive release after the pandemic in India after Rohit Shetty’s directorial Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar and the Ranveer Singh starrer Kapil Dev Biopic, the Kabir Khan directed 83. The two films were released on 3600 and 3400 screens respectively, holding the record for being the widest release of the pandemic.
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Gangubai Kathiawadi also stars Ajay Devgn, Vijay Raaz, and Shantanu Maheshwari in pivotal roles. The film is loosely based on a chapter from Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens Of Mumbai and it is produced by Jayantilal Gada.
