The John Wick fans can rejoice watching the upcoming seasons of the series. Even though the John Wick 3, starring Keanu Reeves, isn’t yet released but, John Wick 4 is already announced which gives some kind of good news to the fans out there.
The third installment of John Wick series has just hit the theaters and the best news coming up for the fans are that the fourth film is already is in its making. Soon after the release of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, the entertainment company Lionsgate behind the action franchise has announced that the Reeves would return with their fourth installment of the show.
John Wick 4 is expected to be released in the United States cinemas on May 21, 2021. It is the second title that will be landing on May 21, 2021 and is more known to join the Warner Bros.’ “DC Super Pets” on the date.
This came up as an immense worldwide success at the box office. The movie has even left behind Marvel’s star-studded Avengers: Endgame at the box office. Chapter 3 opened with expectations trailing to $57 million in its opening weekend – overtaking its predecessors’ records. The 2014 debut of the Keanu Reeves action franchise had collected over $14.4 million and 2017’s Chapter 2 earned them $30.4 million.
John Wick: Chapter 3 also showered the franchise with a record overseas collection of $35 million from around 66 international markets for a global start of $92 million. According to a Hollywood Reporter, reports said that, “You have served. You will be of service. John Wick: Chapter 4 is coming – May 21, 2021”.
However, the producers are yet to confirm about the names that will be directing the fourth movie but rumors mention Chad Stahelski as the most probable name to take the call of duty. He has already directed the first three installments of the film. No such plot details have also been leaked so far, however, it has been stated that the film will also be featuring Halle Berry and Laurence Fisburne.
