Box Office : Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu & Ajay Devgn’s Thank God had decent openings at BO

Ram Setu & Thank God First Day Box Office Collection

Akshay Kumar-led film Ram Setu and Ajay Devgn-Sidharth Malhotra’s Thank God, which debuted on the same day, October 25, are competing at the box office. Early trade reports indicate that the movies are operating on a more or less equal basis, with Ram Setu slightly outperforming them in some areas.

Box Office India reports that Ram Setu is doing well in large areas of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, and Gujarat. Analysts believe the movie may surpass the Rs 15 crore mark on opening day after playing to sold-out audiences in some theatres. It is anticipated to come in third place behind Sooryavanshi and Brahmastra as the greatest opening for a Hindi movie during the pandemic. The Diwali element has also been beneficial. In fact, it has increased interest in the feel-good comedy Thank God, which also stars Rakul Preet Singh.

In the PVR, Cinepolis, and INOX chains, Thank God has sold 26,000 tickets. According to Bollywood Hungama, 50,000 tickets have been sold overall. It was previously predicted that the movie would barely gross a single-digit amount on its first day. Trades anticipate a better outcome as a result of the festival, nevertheless.

Both Ram Setu and Thank God have received largely poor reviews.
