Homebound

Social drama Homebound, featuring Ishaan Khatter, Janhvi Kapoor, and Vishal Jethwa, continued its modest yet steady run with ₹50 lakh collected on its second day, improving from ₹30 lakh on opening day. The film, addressing contemporary social issues, is also India’s official entry for the Best International Feature category at the 2026 Oscars, adding critical and cultural momentum.

Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra

The superhero drama Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra showed resilience in its fourth week, adding ₹3.25 crore on Saturday to cross ₹280 crore in total. Starring Kalyani Priyadarshan, the film remains one of the year’s biggest South Indian hits.

Mirai

In contrast, Mirai, led by Teja Sajja, experienced a slowdown, collecting ₹57 lakh on Saturday, reflecting reduced momentum in its second week. Despite nearing ₹85 crore in total, its growth has been impacted by the overwhelming success of They Call Him OG.
